Jim Pattison Subaru South's Collision Centre is proud to be an accredited Manitoba Public Insurance Direct Repair Shop in Winnipeg. Direct Repair enables our customers with eligible claims to come directly to our body shop for a vehicle damage estimate. You can save time on the trip previously needed to visit an MPI Service Centre for a vehicle damage estimate.
How It Works:
- Call MPI at (204) 985-7000 or toll free 1 (800) 665-2410 to report your claim.
- Obtain an eligible claim number from MPI.
- If your claim qualifies for Direct Repair, simply contact Jim Pattison Subaru South Collision Centre at 1 (877) 813-4067 to book a collision damage estimate and to arrange for repairs.
Windshield Express
We have a dedicated drive-thru for express glass repair and replacement services. We offer same day glass replacement and one-hour chip repairs. Did you know that even a small chip or crack in your windshield can grow and damage your glass? A small crack can be dangerous when it spreads because it can jeopardize the strength and integrity of your windshield. We care about your time and safety, and our dedicated drive-thru is now open.
Express Paint Repair

This allows us to protect your vehicle from cross contamination during the paint process and ensure a cleaner, quality finish. Our booths are equipped with the clean air systems that consist of a state-of-the-art design; meaning a factory finish each and every time.

We offer accurate estimating by thoroughly assessing the vehicle's damage thus creating a repair plan. WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE FOR OUR VEHICLE?
We always use the highest quality materials for your vehicle because we want you to continue driving the vehicle you love, for many years to come.
DO YOU USE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM) PARTS IN REPAIRS?
Yes, whenever possible we try to use new OEM parts to fix your vehicle; however, for a number of reasons, this isn't always possible. When we do use non-OEM parts, we source them from the highest quality companies to ensure that your vehicle is given the best possible parts, regardless of the manufacturer.
IF I GET BODYWORK DONE, WILL THIS INFORMATION BE ATTACHED TO MY CAR THROUGH CARFAX OR OTHER VEHICLE HISTORY REPORTS?
No, your accident history is tracked, but it is done through insurance companies, not body shops. So, if you need any work done, get it done in a body shop immediately before the issue gets any worse.
DO YOU STRICTLY DO COLLISION REPAIR?
No, we also specialize in Windshield & Glass Replacement, Express Paint Repair, and Heavy, Structural Repairs. We cover all general body shop services (for all makes and models!), from fixing dings and scratches to windshield replacement. We also provide FREE estimates for private repairs. If you are concerned about something with your vehicle, bring it in and get an assessment.
I'VE JUST BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. WHAT DO I DO NEXT?
First and foremost, complete all required paperwork with the police department and/or MPI. Your claim will be handled by an adjustor who has been assigned to your case to determine liability, and an estimator who puts together an estimation of how much repair work will cost. This number is compared to the average value of your car in order to determine whether or not your vehicle will be written off or repaired. If you feel that your estimator has given you an unfair valuation of repair costs or vehicle valuation, you can do research on your own, or take your vehicle to an MPI accredited repair shop to determine more accurate figures. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
